Cameroon-Ngaoundere:High school students banned from parading on Facebook

APA-Douala (Cameroon) – The disciplinary committee of Burkina High School in Ngaoundere, north of Cameroon, has banned a dozen high school students from parading themselves on Facebook after indecently exposing themselves on the social media site.Officials of the Ministry of Secondary Education (MINESEC) told APA that the students in question were involved in a private home party after skipping classes.
After plying themselves with drinks and danced in suggestive poses with their school uniforms they had taken photographs and posted them on Facebook emblazoned with the caption Students of Burkina High School in Ngaoundere.
The sultry-looking photos and the comments which left little to the imagination were not to the liking of the school’s headmaster, who considered it a “misuse of social media.
The headteacher had convened a meeting of the school’s disciplinary committee which decided on sanctioning the students.
